Spring
Spring is a booming time at the Greenhouses. It is when we are at our best. We open at the start of march and as the weather breaks we build on our inventory each week. Every foot of space is covered in color and it’s always fun just to look. With so many varieties of high quality plants to see, even if you’re not shopping, it’s a wonderful place to visit.
Summer
Summer is the time when the chickens and cats here like to find some shade under the benches. We are still well stocked and bringing in lots of color. We offer a large selection of annuals, perennials, and pond plants to fill in any gaps your spring planting may have.
Fall
Fall of course is the time for a wide color array of pansies, mums, bulbs. Additionally we bring in truck loads of locally grown pumpkins, both traditional jack-o-lantern orange as well as a huge selection of heirloom gourds and pumpkin varieties.
Winter
Poinsettias planted in august become available for purchase around Thanksgiving, and run while supplies last. Fraser Fir Christmas trees and handmade wreaths fresh from Floyd also deck the Nest during the holiday season.
